Oakley and 100 Thieves Reunite

Oakley and 100 Thieves have unveiled their second collaborative eyewear collection, merging the worlds of performance optics and gaming culture. Following the narrative of their initial ‘Dystopian vs. Utopian’ release, the new campaign pushes the story 100 years into the future to visualize a world being rebuilt. The signature series comprises two distinct silhouettes tailored for different facets of the modern gaming lifestyle. Leading the technical front is the Hstn Sq 100 Thieves collection, a gaming-focused frame that utilizes Oakley’s Prizm™ Gaming 2.0 lens technology. Accompanying the Hstn Sq is the Neoforma, a lifestyle sunglass built for everyday wear. Both styles unify the collection by showcasing a 100 Thieves Geo-Print, which draws graphic inspiration from Heads-Up Display maps found in video games. Detailing on the Neoforma includes a tonal black-on-black colorway, contrasting red Oakley hardware, and a 100 Thieves core logo etched directly onto the lens. The immersive campaign accompanying the release stars gaming personalities such as Anita Ye and Rachel Hofstetter, who utilize the Neoforma eyewear as research tools to restore artificial life and vision in a new digital frontier.

Anne & Valentin Expands Its Series

The French eyewear brand Anne & Valentin is expanding its design universe with new models. Inspired by frosted glass and the delicate marks left by time, the frames combine technical precision with an almost organic softness. The petite oval silhouette Vassia carries an elegant yet self assured expression. With its refined proportions and subtle hinge details, the model reveals a playful character. While maintaining a sophisticated presence, it offers a compact, charming and well balanced design. Venza presents a medium sized rectangular shape that stretches horizontally. In this model, the horizontal lines are softened through carefully calibrated proportions, creating a composed and balanced appearance. The sense of structure remains, yet without rigidity. With a thoughtful and measured design approach, it balances clarity with an introspective simplicity. Another standout model from Anne & Valentin, Vitri stands out with its generously rounded form that almost evokes the moon. While creating a slightly oversized effect on smaller faces, it brings together volume and lightness. The model expresses independence and confidence through a refined sense of eccentricity. Veliska draws attention with its faceted octagonal shape. Despite its graphic presence, the softened edges frame the face with a quiet strength. Although it carries a structured character, Veliska never appears harsh, combining a sculptural effect with elegance.

Hally & Son is Inspired by New York

Hally & Son’s new collection draws inspiration from city architecture and different districts of New York. The architectural lines of the Empire State Building are reflected in the design details of the ‘Empire / Upper’ model, while designs such as Skyline, Madison, and Harlem reference the city’s skyline, creative energy, and cultural diversity. The new collection also features eye-catching clip-on models. With models like Manhattan and Yorkville, the brand provides practical solutions for prescription wearers navigating city life, offering clip-on sunglasses that can be attached to optical frames for everyday use. Hally & Son’s new collection demonstrates an approach that respects the past without simply repeating designs. A change in the signature hinge detail reveals the brand’s courage to revisit and reinterpret its own archives. Inspired by the layered ‘pencil’ silhouette of the Empire State Building, this new hinge design enhances the sense of flow from the front of the frame to the temples. The combination of vintage character, architectural inspiration, and technical refinement makes the collection strong from a commercial perspective while giving it a distinctive design language.
