Moscot Celebrates 110th Anniversary

Moscot celebrates its 110th anniversary with a special campaign. To celebrate its heritage, the brand collaborated with renowned Lisbon-based photographer Julien Roubinet. The campaign, which blends Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and traditional photography, aims to pass on the iconic New York style for years to come. Over the course of five months, hundreds of AI-powered images were created to authentically reflect Moscot’s past and the evolution of the city that shaped it. From the narrow streets of the early 1900s to the glamour of the 1920s, the vibrant Disco era of the 1970s and the powerful Wall Street of the 1980s, each image highlights Moscot’s enduring connection to New York City and its style. The scenes in the campaign were designed with a combination of backgrounds created with AI technology and Moscot eyeglass frames captured with traditional photography. 12 different and timeless styles of eyewear were photographed with models and digitally integrated into the scenes with the right lighting, perspective and film stocks. In this way, the spirit of each era was showcased in perfect harmony with Moscot’s iconic eyeglass frames. By blending technology and craftsmanship, Moscot paid homage to its 110-year heritage and took a step into the future.

This, combined with the latest 3D printing technology, ensures that each piece is unique not only in form but also in the story of its creation. AI Two’s basic design is a masterful blend of futuristic appeal and classic restraint.
