Financial Results of Safilo Group

The board of directors of Safilo Group has approved the company’s consolidated financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2023, and examined the separate financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2023, which will be submitted for approval by the shareholders at the annual general meeting to be held in a single call on April 24, 2024. Safilo closed 2023 with net sales of €1,024.7 million, down 2.3 percent at constant exchange rates and 4.8 percent at current exchange rates compared to €1,076.7 million recorded in 2022.

New RSF Mexico City Store

Retrosuperfuture has opened the architect-designed store in Av. Tamaulipas 141 in the capital of Mexico. Situated in the vibrant La Condesa area, RSF Mexico City store was conceived and designed by RSF’s creative team in collaboration with architect Paul Cournet. The compact store is designed for an organic flow, emphasising key functional elements. RSF’s Mexico City store includes private visiting rooms equipped with licensed opticians, optometrists and Zeiss vision testing machines to address clients’ ophthalmic needs.

Wing Technology by Spect Eyewear

Red Bull Spect Eyewear, a manufacturer of premium sports and blue light filter eyewear, announces an optical collection developed for 2024, describing it as a collection which will set new standards in terms of design and functionality. The centerpiece is the new Wing system, which combines two additional temple elements in one frame, adding better grip when required. A small slider on the temple allows a second, curved metal element to be extended, which shapes itself around the ear and ensures a secure fit even during intense sporting activities.

Ray-Ban and Lenny Kravitz Collab

Ray-Ban unveiled the Ray-Ban x Lenny Kravitz capsule collection, a rock-and-roll-inspired twist on its Reverse sunglasses. The limited-edition pairs are available in gold, black, dark gray, or silver—and come etched with Kravitz’s personalized signature. Oliver Peoples and worldy-known tennis champion Roger Federer released their first eyewear collection, RF | Oliver Peoples. The four-collection partnership under the Roger Federer (RF) and Oliver Peoples brands begins with six new styles – including four sunglasses and two shield frames. Federer said, “Sunglasses are something I’ve enjoyed as my sport has required me to chase the sun 80% of my life. One of the main goals of our collection was to create sunglasses that could be utilized in every aspect of one’s routine – off or on the court.”

Marcolin Opened Manhattan Showroom

Marcolin officially opened its new showroom in New York with an exclusive opening ceremony. Located on the 19th floor in 270 Madison Avenue, in the heart of Manhattan, the new showroom, designed by Milan-based design studio Navone Associati, includes offices and a large space dedicated to Marcolin’s brands. A multitude of esteemed guests, including US press, customers, partners and institutions attended the opening ceremony held in the new spaces.
