Theo Eyewear Introduces Friskos Series

Theo Eyewear introduces its new sunglasses collection, Friskos. Interpreting the lightness and energy of the season and the approaching summer months through a graphic design language, the collection once again reflects the brand’s distinctive approach. For the creative team, the starting point of Friskos is the simple form of an ice cream stick. Reimagined through Theo’s unique design perspective, this familiar silhouette is transformed into fully acetate frames that combine a sense of nostalgia with a contemporary aesthetic. Models including Popsi, Stox, Lolly, Soleo, Scoopy and Bello stand out with their vibrant colour palette and soft, rounded forms. While the designs create a playful and effortless impression at first glance, they are supported by a strong sense of proportion and form. As in Theo Eyewear’s design philosophy, playfulness and technical precision come together in balanced harmony throughout the Friskos collection. This approach gives the collection a character that feels both free and controlled. Rather than making a bold statement, Friskos offers a narrative shaped by subtle, intuitive emotions. Influenced by longer days, increasing sunlight and rising temperatures, the collection approaches eyewear not merely as an accessory, but as an expression of the energy of everyday life.

Götti Launches Ceni and Cenaya

Götti adds two new models to its Dimension collection that reinterpret the iconic aviator form. Inspired by the strong aesthetic legacy of the 1970s, the aviator silhouette is reimagined through the brand’s contemporary design approach, resulting in a lighter, softer expression aligned with modern style. Developed using advanced 3D printing technology at the brand’s Swiss manufacturing facilities, the frames are built layer by layer and finished by hand. This technical process brings an architectural precision to the frames, while the fluid and comfortable construction ensures a balanced experience in everyday wear. Moving away from sharp definitions, the design language embraces softer, rounded lines, offering a refined and modern interpretation of the classic aviator shape. A silk-touch surface enhances this sense of fluidity, creating a striking contrast between the technical production process and the tactile aesthetic experience. At the junction between the front and the temples, a stainless steel hinge detail adds both functional and visual emphasis, giving the frames a distinctive structural character. With Ceni and Cenaya, Götti revisits a familiar form through a clean yet impactful approach, adapting a timeless design to the rhythm of contemporary life.

Brett Eyewear Adds Midnight Blue

Brett Eyewear has expanded its universe with Midnight Blue, a new colour that perfectly embodies the brand’s vision: a discreet, precise and timeless elegance, designed for men who value detail and mastery. Described as far more than a colour, Midnight Blue is the result of advanced technical research. This deep, dark and dense blue is achieved through a high-precision Physical Vapor Deposition treatment, a technology borrowed from cutting-edge industries such as aerospace, watchmaking and the medical sector. Unlike traditional surface treatments, Pvd gives Midnight Blue a unique depth, capable of capturing light while maintaining sobriety. Each reflection, each subtle variation in shade reveals the complexity of the process and the technical mastery of materials. This new colour finds its full expression in Brett’s ED frame, an emblematic piece from the Streamline collection. The ED frame is crafted from monobloc titanium, machined with visible chamfers that highlight the precision of the material work and the purity of the lines. This technical construction provides lightness, optimal strength and an immediately recognizable visual signature, the company adds.

New Optical Models by Ultra Limited

Ultra Limited introduces four new optical models named Acireale, Amatrice, Licata, and Ostuni. Marking a new phase in the brand’s design language, the models go beyond presenting new forms, expressing a strong sense of character through proportion, material, and craftsmanship. Acetate, which forms the foundation of the collection, is skilfully shaped to create a distinct identity for each model, while the use of colour stands out through bold contrasts, layered tonal transitions, and a sense of depth. Acireale delivers a graphic presence with its clean lined square form, enhanced by subtle tonal shifts that change with the light. Amatrice brings a more dynamic rhythm to the collection with its hexagonal structure, where defined yet softened surface transitions add both strength and balance. In Licata, the classic cat eye is reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, with its lifted upper line creating a more architectural and controlled effect rather than a nostalgic one. Ostuni presents the butterfly silhouette in fuller yet balanced proportions, with a fluid and sculptural structure that reveals a strong profile, particularly when viewed from the side. Entirely handcrafted in Italy, the frames stand out through their careful material selection and meticulous production process.
