Persol presents its new campaign dedicated to the icons of the future. Persol’s culture, from the past to the present and from the present to the future, is presented this season in unique iconic designs. The inspiring new campaign, which captures the essence of what it means to be a true icon, was shot in the studio by Philip Gay. Expressing what is reflected with just a glance, different characters and styles, including the famous model Chiara Scelsi, are reduced to their purest form and brought to life in the form of iconic black and white portraits. The Tom model, a staple of celebrity style in the 80s, becomes the protagonist of the ad campaign in the new generation. The model will be the center of attention this season with its temples and extremely eye-catching pieces on the temples.  The tortoise pattern combined with distinctive metal parts and gradient polarized or monochrome Barberini® Premium lenses in Havana or black give the model a unique look. Miu Miu’s new season collection reflects the brand’s identity by juxtaposing starkly contrasting elements. Feminine playful shapes illuminate the daring style of volumes. The eyewear showcased at the brand’s Spring/Summer 2023 runway reflects the Miu Miu woman’s eccentricity, with perfectly fit shapes contrasting with lightweight structures and a distinctive vertical Miu Miu logo adorning the lenses. The SMU54Y sunglasses from the collection are inspired by the 1990s.  The modern design of the front of the model features frameless and face-framing lenses personalized with the eye-catching Miu Miu logo. The Miu Miu Glimpse frames feature new acetate models, in which the thick profiles give way to larger shapes and the vertical Miu Miu logo is reduced in size, staying true to its iconic feature. The sun model SMU09Y from the Miu Miu Glimpse collection softens the thick profiles while the oval front evokes a sophisticated cat’s eye shape. The vertical Miu Miu logo, which integrates with the hinge of the temple, has been scaled down in keeping with the sophisticated style of the entire collection. The oversized SMU10Y sun model stands out with its oversized square shape. The model’s slightly beveled edges reflect modern femininity.
