Austrian eyewear manufacturer Rolf has been honored with the renowned Mido show CSE (Certified Sustainable Eyewear) Award for the second time in a row within the category of Frame, Europe. With this success, Rolf is once again setting new standards in terms of sustainability and innovation. The CSE Award honors brands that demonstrate outstanding achievements in the areas of environmental friendliness, social responsibility and innovative materials. Rolf’s bean eyewear from the Substance Collection meets these requirements in many respects. Made from bio-based materials and produced using 3D printing, they combine sustainability with long-lasting quality. Thanks to the innovative, patented hinge construction, they not only offer a resource-saving design and an unusually low number of components, but also exceptional stability and easy replacement of individual parts, if necessary, which significantly increases the service life of the glasses.

Opti 2025 Took Place in Munich

Opti 2025, which was held in Munich, Germany between January 31 and February 2 this year, once again showed that it is an important platform for innovation, dialogue, future technologies and trends. This year, the fair hosted a total of 330 exhibitors from 23 countries, 190 of which were from Germany. According to a post-show survey conducted by Opti organizers, 97% of exhibitors rated the quality of visitors as good to very good in terms of interest in the products on their stands. Cathleen Kabashi, Head of Opti show said: “Opti remains on course for success. After opti 2024, we went one better and it paid off. Combining our information Hubs in the opti Hub Arena and the joint platform for contact lens manufacturers, Tomorrow Vısıon, met with a very good response from visitors and exhibitors alike. And confirmed to us that both the concept and opti as an annual kick-off are a success.
