Burberry Brings British Shores

Burberry’s new season designs are inspired by the British shores, where people come together for pure enjoyment and communion with nature. The collection offers a range of essential frames as well as standout styles that can be worn from a vacation getaway to a city escape. Fashion show frames with shark-shaped temples, lightweight styles with cut-out lettering reinterpreting Burberry jewels and textured temples inspired by the quilted pattern of the Lola bag stand out. The large square-shaped BE 4389 sunglasses in acetate are detailed with metal Burberry logo letters inspired by the brand’s signature jewel. The acetate used on the front of the model is produced with at least twenty-five percent recycled content. There are different color alternatives such as black with dark gray lenses, Havana with brown gradient lenses, sky blue with dark blue lenses, pink with brown gradient lenses and beige templed frame with bronze lenses and speckled horn effect. The large sun model BE 4388U is made of acetate and features an asymmetrical silhouette and large temples with metal Burberry logo lettering. The model is available in different color alternatives such as black with dark gray lenses, dark Havana with brown gradient lenses, green with dark gray lenses, yellow with blue lenses and black frame with gray gradient lenses.

Calvin Klein Jeans Series on Sale

Marchon Eyewear has launched the Calvin Klein Jeans Spring/Summer 2023 range of sunglasses. The new styles are available in bold shapes, eye-catching colours, with design details referencing the brand’s casual aesthetic. The sunglasses are made with at least 60% plant-based resin and feature Tritan Renew lenses, from an innovative material powered by Eastman polyester renewal technology, with up to 50% recycled content. According to Marchon, this technology breaks down hard-to-recycle single plastic waste into basic chemical building blocks, allowing plastic materials to be re-cycled repeatedly. The CKJ23603S style that is in the collection, offers a bold, angular cat-eye shape, with a thin line, which matches the colour of the monogram logo on the temples, tracing the frame edge which has diamond-shaped temple tips. The sunglasses are available in red, black, green and pink variations. With a modified rectangular style and contrasting colour details on the temples and frame, CKJ23602S is available in transparent yellow, black, white and blue. Morel Expands Into Germany-Austria

Morel has announced the launch of its 15th subsidiary, Morel Germany-Austria. This new addition supports Morel’s expansion strategy, which includes its 14 other subsidiaries established in the last 10 years: France, U.S., Scandinavia, Switzerland, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Canada, Spain, United Kingdom, Finland, Greece, and Czechia Slovakia. Marcolin’s Successful Financial Year

Marcolin’s Board of Directors presented the Group’s separate and consolidated financial statements for the year ending December 31, 2022. In 2022, Marcolin’s net sales amounted to €547.4 million, up 20.1% year-on-year at current exchange rates and +13.2% at constant exchange rates, despite international geopolitical challenges and instability. The company improved its performance in all geographic regions compared to 2021. Significant growth was recorded in the high-potential market of Asia, while EMEA and Americas were confirmed as the main geographic regions, together accounting for around 90% of revenue. Several factors contributed to the achievement of these important results, including the consolidation of a large number of brands in the portfolio, the implementation of a digital transformation process based on the central role played by the relationship with customers in all its phases, and the continuous drive towards production and procurement efficiency. The net financial position amounted to €137.4 million, an improvement of €10.7 million compared to the previous year, thanks both to the liquidity generated by the operating results and to the regular control of working capital in all its components: trade receivables, trade payables and inventory levels.
