Senior Appointment at Rodenstock

Rodenstock Group has appointed Dr. Mani Herold as its new Cfo (Chief Financial Officer) as of April 1, 2023. Dr. Mani Herold has more than 25 years of international work experience in the area of strategic and operational financial management, amongst others at E.ON and Cerdia. Over the past years Dr. Herold has been CFO and Labor Director of the Pfleiderer Group, where he was instrumental in successfully repositioning Pfleiderer in the debt capital markets and in securing the financial performance of the Group during times of highly volatile raw material and energy prices. He holds a Ph. D. and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Munich. Marcus Desimoni, CEO of Rodenstock stated: “We are pleased to welcome with Dr Herold a well-rounded finance leader to our Rodenstock management team. Lunor Presents the New M6

Lunor launches its new collection for the Spring/Summer 2023 season called M6. The German brand enriches the new M6 stainless steel collection with acetate temples, creating a comfortable and stylish combination of both materials. For three years now, the famous eyewear brand Lunor has been producing frames in its own factory, Lumag, with great dedication and extremely precise, traditional craftsmanship. The brand’s popular Classic and M5 collections produced at Lumag are now followed by the timeless stainless steel M6 collection.  Thanks to the “Made in Germany” label, the new collection makes its purely regional origins clear. The classic look of the M6 combines a noble metal frame with ergonomic titanium nose pads and flexible acetate temples for a shapely and comfortable combination that beats short-lived trends.

New Acetate Frames from Götti

Swiss eyewear brand Götti presents its new solid and massive acetate frames. For the new season, Götti introduces the Hahns, Hares and Holly models, which are characterized by filigree elements with bold and expressive looks thanks to their attention to detail. The brand has ideally composed the transparent temples of the new models with a refined gold structure. To balance the strong and dominant shapes of the new models, Götti has used an abstract pattern on the inside of the temples, highlighting the exceptional craftsmanship and high quality materials used to create the frames. Simple, delicate and elegant, the new acetate models are characterized by gold hinges and rivets that blend seamlessly with the translucent acetate plate. Police Sponsors for the 5th Time

Police, renewed its sponsorship agreement with the Mercedes-Amg Petronas Formula One Team. As a result of this partnership, the Police logo will be visible on the helmets of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell and the brand’s sunglasses and optical frames will be worn by the drivers and the racing team. Racing drivers, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, also steal the spotlight in the shots taken for the Police Spring/Summer 2023 advertising campaign, in collaboration with the Mercedes-Amg Petronas Formula One Team. Cutler & Gross Presents The Haçienda

Cutler and Gross launches its new retro luxury sunglass and optical styles for the Spring/Summer 2023 season. The British brand takes inspiration for the new collection from Manchester’s famous nightclub The Haçienda, which was open from 1982 to 1997. The Haçienda was the spiritual home of “acid house” music, at the forefront of music and youth culture in Manchester city center, credited with reinventing and revitalizing the nightclub genre. The Haçienda is the nightclub that changed Britain. Key shapes from the Cutler and Gross extensive design archive are seen through the lens of The Haçienda’s heyday, reinvented with flair and special regard for the music, color and fashion of that time. The collection comprises ten styles, broken down into six opticals and four sunglasses, that possess a distinctly retro and luxurious feel. Oversized silhouettes and thick profiles come together to create an effortless oh so chic look. D & G Names New Brand Faces

Italian giant Dolce & Gabbana presents its new Spring/Summer 2023 eyewear campaign created by the most iconic photographers of contemporary fashion, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Kylie Jenner and Michele Morrone are the new faces of Dolce & Gabbana eyewear. The photo shoots, which took place in the swimming pool of a villa in Los Angeles, California, attracted attention with its glamor that is so glamorous that it resembles Hollywood movie sets. Kylie Jenner, a successful entrepreneur and one of the most followed and popular figures among global stars, was chosen as the female face of the campaign. Michele Morrone, the famous Italian actor with 15.6 million followers, also stars in the visuals featuring men’s styles. Carrera is at Coachella Festival!

Carrera Eyewear has announced its official eyewear partnership with the 2023 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, taking place over the two consecutive weekends of April 14 – 16 and April 21 – 23, in Indio, California.
