The name Pacific is reminiscent of an ocean that unites two cultures, two worlds, and two ways of interpreting the design of eyeglasses from the 1940s. The style originated in Japan and became renowned worldwide after undergoing a refined transformation in California. Blackfin has reinterpreted these classic designs with a contemporary touch, resulting in sleek eyeglass frames that exude an ageless elegance. The new series embodies the brand’s characteristic technical expertise and design language. Blackfin Pacific is created from a single 3mm block of titanium for durability and strength. Despite the technical material, the frame is smoothly chamfered, providing an unmatched visual softness that cannot be replicated mechanically. Additionally, the Swordfish temple tips, which are patented, enable easy and quick adjustment of the temples to ensure optimal wearability on all face types. This groundbreaking series is offered in three versions, each interpreting the iconic shapes of classic Japanese design in a retro-modern style. Pacific ‘Big Sur’ has a panto shape with pure, timeless lines, while Pacific ‘Sierra’ has beveled edges and a more contemporary appearance. Pacific ‘Mojave’, on the other hand, has a rounded square shape with a more classic vibe.
