Italian eyewear brand Mondelliani and South Korea’s Design Shower have introduced a collaborative eyewear collection named Sprinkles. Developed over nearly a year and a half, the collection brings together the Italian brand’s design language with Design Shower’s Korean craftsmanship. At the heart of the collection are irregular acetate pieces, individually hand-cut and carefully applied to each frame. Thanks to this handcrafted process, every frame has its own distinctive appearance, with no two pieces exactly alike. Named after the colorful confectionery decorations used on cakes and desserts, Sprinkles places vibrant color at the center of its design concept. Inspired by the shared appreciation of color found in both Rome and Seoul, the collection combines Italian creativity with Korean craftsmanship. Each frame is defined by hand-applied details that create a spontaneous visual effect while reflecting the precision of the production process. This approach gives every design a unique identity within the collection. Sprinkles includes four frame shapes: pantos, square, round and cat-eye. The collection is available in both optical and sunglass versions.
