Chopard has expanded its 2026 eyewear collection with two new sunglass models. With the introduction of Schm61s and Schm39, the brand combines fine jewelry craftsmanship with performance driven design. Schm61s stands out as a limited edition “Red Carpet” sunglass model created for the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. Limited to just 499 pieces, each model features an individual engraving on the inside of the temple. Inspired by Chopard’s jewelry savoir-faire, the design draws attention with its geometric front construction and 23 karat gold plated details. The floral motif positioned on the front is enriched with 96 zirconia stones in different cuts and shapes. Teardrop cut stones placed around the lenses reference the diamond cuts used throughout Chopard’s iconic jewelry collections. Also joining the collection is Schm39, a wraparound rimless design that introduces a more sporty aesthetic. Inspired by Chopard’s Classic Racing collection, the model focuses on everyday comfort through bronze toned lenses, a lightweight bridge construction and ergonomic nose pads. Titanium reinforced temples reflect the collection’s precision driven mechanical character, while the aerodynamic profile gives the model a sporty yet contemporary appearance.
