Eco Embraces Circular Production
Eco Eyewear continues to advance its sustainability efforts through its “Wave of Change” initiative. Aimed at stopping plastic waste before it reaches the oceans, the program takes concrete steps to reduce environmental impact. In collaboration with Waste Free Oceans, nearly 60 tons of plastic have been collected to date. The recovered materials are not only removed from marine environments but also sorted and transformed into raw material. This recycling process creates a circular system in which the collected waste is reused in eyewear production. In this way, materials retrieved from the sea are given a new life as finished products. Eco Eyewear’s approach focuses on utilizing existing resources rather than producing new materials. This philosophy forms the foundation of the brand’s sustainability strategy. More than a one-time project, the “Wave of Change” initiative represents an ongoing and evolving model. Growing steadily, it reflects an approach that integrates environmental responsibility into production processes. Through this initiative, Eco Eyewear not only contributes to the environment but also sets a strong example for sustainable manufacturing within the industry.
