Palm Angels, an L.A. brand, was founded by Francesco Ragazzi, an art director trained in fashion communication and a Milan-born photographer. He started Palm Angels in 2011 as a photographic documentation of the skater culture of Los Angeles, a trend that now reaches Turkey from Moncler with Turkuaz Optik distributorship. The book, published by Rizzoli in 2014 and with a foreword written by Pharrell Williams, revealed the first ready-to-wear collection for Fall/Winter 2015. The eyewear collection is an essential addition to the collection. His designs can best be described as an assortment of luxurious, skateboard-inspired garments and accessories; the result of what Ragazzi says is the result of mixing his Italian tailoring background with the laid-back vibe he so admires in the skaters of Los Angeles, and the name of indispensable comfort is firmly established, especially on the accessories side. Today it is available in 210 stores worldwide, including top luxury retailers such as Palm Angels, Colette, Barneyʼs NY, Maxfield, The Webster Miami, Selfridges, Saks Fifth Avenue, Harvey Nichols London and many others, and through Turkuaz Optik, the Turkish distributor.
