Safilo Group has signed a ten-year global licensing agreement with Italian fashion house Etro for the design, manufacturing and distribution of the brand’s sunglasses and optical frames. The first Safilo-created eyewear range will be presented with Etro’s the Spring/Summer 2024 collection. Etro Ceo Fabrizio Cardinali said: “The partnership with a leading company like Safilo represents a further step in the expansion of Etro’s offer to the market. The eyewear segment will join the ready-to-wear, home, fragrance and Etro Kids collection that has been recently announced.
