Using vintage C-9 parachutes salvaged from military collections around the world, each piece inside the capsule is meticulously handcrafted. Led by a team of women, the collaboration’s apparel, accessories and eyewear are inspired by female aviators throughout history who bravely broke down gender barriers. Finished in 23K satin gold, this limited edition aviator features vintage crystal bayonet temple tips and special SkyForce™ nylon AGX non-polarized lenses for space flight. The accompanying sunglass case is handmade with recycled materials from vintage C-9 parachutes, inspired by the aviator cases used in space exploration. Inspired by the pioneering women of the Mercury 13 program who pioneered the advancement of women in space flight, the female-led team behind the Randolph x W’menswear collaboration explored various powerful meanings of femininity.
