New Ferragamo Series Released
Ferragamo Eyewear Fall/Winter 2024 collection combines elegance, heritage and craftsmanship. Organized by Jurgen Teller in Florence, the city where it all began, the campaign features optics and sunglasses worn by Peter Saville, Tim Schuhmacher, Maia Tellit Hawad, Lina Zhang and Raquel Zimmermann. The Ferragamo ensemble appears on the streets of a city that continues to inspire the present day with its art, history and complex yet indifferent charm. Featuring daring designs, geometric profiles and face-hugging silhouettes, the new collection brings a new and modern twist to traditional style, focusing on style, functionality and the most perfect expressions of the Florentine Maison’s signature. Research, innovation and intricate technique are manifested in unique details of both decorative and functional nature, coming together in a striking balance between comfort and ease of use. The craftsmanship is evident in the sculptural and large shapes with curved angles achieved through manual milling processes. The fashion house’s aesthetic embraces modernity while remaining true to the deep-rooted history of its beautiful city. These rectangular sunglasses SF2032S in acetate are characterized by a thick and large front line with spoilers on the sides, finished with a hand milling process. The thick frames make the material lightweight and comfortable, exploring classic colors as well as vibrant natural colors such as camlopal beige, red and forest green that match or contrast. Designed for men, these rectangular sunglasses SF2033S in acetate feature thick geometric profiles smoothed by milling for a smooth finish. Inspired by the way Ferragamo bags close, the metal prismatic piece follows the curves on the front, acting as both a connecting element with the temples and a decorative detail engraved with the Ferragamo logo.
