British luxury eyewear brand Cutler and Gross has teamed up with British Rock ‘n’ Roll jewelers The Great Frog to launch an exclusive eyewear collection for this season. The campaign, titled Gothic Realism, is fronted by punk icon and longtime friend of the brand, Debbie Harry. As the legendary lead singer of Blondie and a trailblazer of the New Wave movement, Harry’s eclectic punk style and enduring influence make her the ideal face for the collaboration. The campaign was shot at the iconic Chelsea Hotel in New York, a landmark of pop culture that has hosted artists like Andy Warhol, Bob Dylan, and Patti Smith. The Gothic Realism collection features six unique designs that delve into the dark, mystical world of the Underworld. Handcrafted in Cutler and Gross’ Italian atelier, the frames reflect over a century of craftsmanship, incorporating The Great Frog’s signature 925 Sterling Silver or 24K Gold-plated emblems. The collection’s color palette mixes classic tones with vibrant bursts of color, created through the intricate layering of pigmented acetate.
