The model is available in fun color options such as black with leopard print, Havana with patterns on the famous Sicilian wheelbarrow, black with zebra print with mirrored lenses and pink with floral print.

The Italian jewelry designer Bea Bongiasca has collaborated with Linda Farrow for a capsule collection with a playful twist. Composed of three classic frame shapes, the capsule collection combines the brightly colored vines that wrap around the fingers in Bongiasca’s Baby Vine rings with a playful twist on tradition. Bea Bongiasca says, “The frames and shapes of the glasses are by Linda Farrow. We added our own signature colors and vines. The idea was to decorate the sunglasses with both colorful and metallic branches, just like they wrap jewelry. The packaging is also very pop and colorful, so it represents our style very well. Linda Farrow is a pioneering brand in the optical industry, very innovative and absolutely rule-breaking. I had my doubts at the beginning because I had never designed eyewear before and I was very lucky to work with Linda Farrow because they are masters in their field and moreover they are very open to try new, unconventional ideas. We made mood boards and did some quick sketches so they could tell us which direction was most achievable and would give the best design result.”

Kering’s New Headquarters in Milan

Kering announced the opening of its new 9,500 square-meter offices in Milan. Kering’s new office is located in Palazzo Pertusati, a six-story building on Via Senato with a stunning view. The building stands on the site of the former Palazzo Pertusati Gropallo, which was designed by the 18th-century architect Simone Cantoni and considered once as a model of neoclassical style. Jean-François Palus, Kering’s Group Managing Director, said: “We are delighted to move our Italy head office to this magnificent location at the center of Milan’s business and luxury district, and thus symbolically confirm the role of Kering as a key pillar of the Italian luxury and business landscape. After the installment of the 162,000 sqm global logistic hub in Trecate (Novara) in 2021, and ongoing significant investment by the Group’s Houses in Italy, these new offices represent a milestone for Kering’s presence in the country, and I am sure that they will contribute to further reinforce the sense of belonging of the Group’s more than 13,000 employees in Italy.”

Oakley has announced that they have teamed up with Tom Cruise to design and produce the ‘perfect’ pair of glasses for Ethan Hunt’s character in the Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One, The brand announced that the frame designed for the character Ethan Hunt, played by Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One, was exclusively crafted for one of the most dangerous scenes in the movie franchise. Oakley worked closely with the action star to design the glasses. Specially molded to fit the famous actor’s face, the glasses, coded ECLP23, provide speed protection and the clearest and widest field of vision, even at high speeds. Featuring zero gravity, among other exclusive features, the ECLP23 fits the actor’s face perfectly, ensuring that this historic moment in the Mission Impossible film franchise was not left to chance. Oakley said in a statement that the ECLP23 will not be available for sale and that the glasses are only a prototype for the famous movie series.
