Austrian eyewear manufacturer Andy Wolf and Florence-based independent eyewear store I Visionari have launched a joint capsule collection of four limited edition sunglasses. The collection is inspired by nature, landscapes and walking. The concept of walking, which also signifies an inner journey to get to know ourselves better and to understand our wishes and desires for the future, is one of the main starting points of the design process of the joint capsule collection. The metal and acetate mixed models are presented with Zeiss lenses.

Kering Eyewear has kicked off work on its new headquarters in Padua. Following the opening of the logistics hub in Vescovana in 2019, this project represents a major investment in the area. Headquarters will become a state-of-the-art business hub both in terms of structure and services offered to people. Completion of the facility is scheduled for early 2025 on the land adjacent to the current offices in the 16th-century Villa Zaguri. With a total area of more than 10 thousand square meters, the architectural complex, will be able to accommodate 650 employees of the company.

Gucci Vault, the concept store of Italian giant Gucci, and Swedish luxury sports eyewear brand Yniq have collaborated to produce a limited edition ski goggle. The collaboration has resulted in the launch of two luxury models, Nine and Four, secured with elastic straps and available in red/orange, silver, purple and blue. The advertising campaign for the new ski goggles features three-time Olympic medalist skier Lindsey Vonn in front of the cameras.

The project, which brings together Alicia Hartman, Founder of Peoples from Barbados, which was established to honor Barbados on the fiftieth anniversary of Barbados’ independence, and Simon Jablon, Founder and Creative Director of Linda Farrow, first presents a sunglass that combines the Barbadian spirit and Caribbean color palette with Linda Farrow quality.

Switzerland-based Götti is inspired by nature and simplicity in its new sustainable eyewear collection, which is called as Bionic, for the Spring/Summer 2023 season. The new 3D printed Götti models are crafted with eco-friendly methods from materials to design, production to packaging. “We named our collection Bionic because we were inspired by the joints in the human body for the special screwless hinges we use in the frames,” commented Sven Götti, Founder and Designer of Götti.
