Caroline Abram, an optician trained in ‘Designer Oriented Stores’, started designing jewelry and accessories such as magnifiying glasses and chains for the eyewear market in 1998. After receiving four gold Silmo Awards, Caroline Abram opened her handicraft production workshops in Dakar, where she trained a team of women who produced a wide range of jewelry and accessories in materials such as resin, silver and wood. Discovering the charm of Florida in 2008, Caroline Abram started to present her sunglasses and prescription eyewear collections reminiscent of Miami’s age-old fashion appeal. Caroline Abram, who succeeded in making her name known worldwide with her eyewear collections representing the feminine stance, carried her rapidly rising graph even further by designing optical glasses and sunglasses collections for children in 2014. Karma Collection Expands

For the new Karma sunglasses, the designer takes inspiration from the work of Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, who created the new arches for the Angers Cathedral in France.
