For Art’s Sake Releases New Series

For Art’s Sake launches the Adriatic collection. The new styles in For Art’s Sake’s Adriatic collection are initially inspired by the sunny days and sultry, star-filled nights on the Adriatic coast. According to the brand, the collection has evolved into an ode to the world around us, looking at the earth, the sea, the sky and the ancient beauty that exists within them, seen anew through the eyes of each of us. The collection includes 9 new sunglasses and 2 optical styles for the adventurous For Art’s Sake woman who loves art. Creative Director Xiwen Zhang Makridis said: “I have created a collection that invites the Adriatic to relax or invite you to go to vacation, taking more cues from the human relationships, textures, colors and shapes I experience on vacations. Each pair of glasses I have designed evokes an emotion. Whether it’s the spray from the waves that inspired our Sapphire frames glinting in the sun on the rocks, or something as simple as the lace trim I saw in the showcase revealing our latest optics, I wanted to remind the wearer that there is magic around every corner.”
