Hoya Protects Against Myopia with Miyosmart

According to the World Health Organization’s 2020 estimates, about 30% of the world’s population is myopic, and by 2050 this figure will reach 50%. This means that half of the global population, or an estimated 5 billion people, could be affected by myopia by 2050. Myopia is a global concern. Children under 10 years of age are at risk and the annual rate of myopia progression is highest in children under 10 years of age. A child with one myopic parent is about 3 times more likely to become myopic, and a child with both myopic parents is about 6 times more likely to become myopic.
