Off-White Designs Draw Strength from Contrast
Off-White presents a strong visual language in its new season eyewear campaign, bringing opposing elements into a single frame. Compositions surrounded by flowers set against urban backdrops of concrete, architecture and cityscapes clearly reflect the brand’s aesthetic approach. This visual construction goes beyond a stylistic choice, directly shaping the character of the designs within the collection. The frames stand out with bold and defined forms, moving away from soft lines. Oversized shield designs, sharp-edged square silhouettes and thick acetate structures form the core of the collection. These frames do more than complement the face, they actively transform its expression. Oversized models, in particular, draw attention with their architectural presence, often covering a large portion of the face. The use of floral elements in the campaign carries meaning beyond decoration. Representing softness, fragility and natural beauty, these elements create a deliberate contrast with the frames’ rigid, structural and urban character. This tension reflects Off-White’s signature approach of blurring the boundaries between feminine and masculine, organic and industrial.
