Produced in a run of just 100 pieces, the distinctive yellow edition will support the Gai Gherardi Fellowship, established by the New York-based nonprofit Art Matters. The custom colourway was among the last designs personally developed by Gherardi before her passing in 2025. While Art Matters created the fellowship to celebrate Gherardi&#8217;s longstanding dedication to supporting artists during her many years on the foundation&#8217;s board, l.a.Eyeworks is using the project to highlight the enduring connection between art and design. Crafted from pure titanium in Japan, each individually numbered frame is presented with a specially designed case and cleaning cloth created by the artist duo Huntley Muir. The limited edition also stands as a tribute to the brand&#8217;s creative legacy and its close relationship with the art world since 1979.
