The announcement draws attention as it follows Safilo\u2019s recent statement that it would not make a binding offer for Inspecs. Safilo emphasized that its interest in Inspecs forms part of its strategy to strengthen its position in the optical segment and expand its presence in key European markets, particularly Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
