As part of the project, Hoya also planned to provide lens and frame support to children in need of lenses. Eye Health Specialist Assoc. Prof. Dr. Semra Akkaya Turhan and Assistant Dr. Rabia Ero\u011flu Ayaz, Istanbul Chamber of Opticians-Glassesmen President Ayhan Demircan, Hoya medical and brand communication team attended the event. The examination, which lasted 2 hours in total before and after noon, was like an event for children. In total, 65 children were examined and it was determined that 13 children needed glasses. Two prescriptions were found to be MiyoSmart, which slows the rate of myopia progression in children by 60%. The event created a great awareness among the managers of the institution in terms of children&#8217;s eye health within the scope of early diagnosis of vision problems.
