Paloceras is expanding its Nouvelle Fiction optical eyewear collection with new sunglass designs defined by sculptural acetate forms. Inspired by the brand’s award winning Pebble collection, the Nouvelle Fiction Sun series reinterprets inflated volumes through softer and more rounded silhouettes. Throughout the new collection, light, color and movement become central elements of the design approach. Previously focused on indoor wear and optical styles, the Nouvelle Fiction design language now evolves into an outdoor eyewear experience. Tinted sun lenses transform the collection’s sculptural structures into a more fluid and dynamic visual expression. Crafted from premium Mazzucchelli cellulose acetate, the frames are shaped through a specialized heat molding technique. According to the brand, this process allows the creation of inflated and voluminous forms that are difficult to achieve through conventional manufacturing methods. The sun lenses used throughout the collection are developed in collaboration with Divel Italia. Alongside standard tinted lenses, the collection also includes polarized and photochromic options. Gold plated Visottica metal details further reinforce the collection’s refined aesthetic. Color also plays a defining role within the Nouvelle Fiction Sun collection. Frosted aqua tones, milky blues, warm browns, vivid greens, dusty pinks and smoky greys shape the collection’s color palette.
