Ultra Limited introduces four new optical models named Acireale, Amatrice, Licata, and Ostuni. Marking a new phase in the brand’s design language, the models go beyond presenting new forms, expressing a strong sense of character through proportion, material, and craftsmanship. Acetate, which forms the foundation of the collection, is skilfully shaped to create a distinct identity for each model, while the use of colour stands out through bold contrasts, layered tonal transitions, and a sense of depth. Acireale delivers a graphic presence with its clean lined square form, enhanced by subtle tonal shifts that change with the light. Amatrice brings a more dynamic rhythm to the collection with its hexagonal structure, where defined yet softened surface transitions add both strength and balance. In Licata, the classic cat eye is reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, with its lifted upper line creating a more architectural and controlled effect rather than a nostalgic one. Ostuni presents the butterfly silhouette in fuller yet balanced proportions, with a fluid and sculptural structure that reveals a strong profile, particularly when viewed from the side. Entirely handcrafted in Italy, the frames stand out through their careful material selection and meticulous production process.
