Morel has announced the development of a new special collection named Örigin. The French brand’s latest release stands out with its distinctive combination of wood and titanium. With the Örigin collection, Morel further elevates its craftsmanship and detail driven design approach. The collection incorporates two different types of wood: rosewood and oak. Selected for their natural colors and textural qualities, both materials add a sense of organic elegance and tactile refinement to the designs. The Örigin aesthetic draws inspiration from some of Morel’s most iconic eyewear styles. The collection is defined by an architectural appearance enhanced with contemporary details. In selected models, metal lines extend from the double hook hinge structure and continue along the temples. This detail creates a strong sense of visual continuity throughout the frame design. Other models feature translucent acrylic inserts positioned within the wood structure. This approach makes light and transparency an integral part of the overall design. All temples in the collection are sculpted with soft, organic lines. Morel also incorporates its screwless and solder free hinge system throughout the series. According to the brand, this construction helps ensure both flexibility and wearing comfort.
