Alcon announced that its sales increased 10 percent to reach $2.7 billion in the first quarter of 2026. Growth on a constant currency basis was reported at 6 percent. Net sales across the company’s Vision Care division, which includes contact lens and ocular health operations, also increased 9 percent to $1.2 billion. Vision Care growth on a constant currency basis reached 6 percent. Alcon Ceo David J. Endicott stated, “We made a strong start to 2026. New product launches including Unity Vcs and Cs, Panoptix Pro, Tryptyr and Precision7 played an important role in our growth. Supported by our balanced product portfolio, we continue to maintain a strong position against market variability. Our innovation focused approach continues to reinforce our leadership in eyecare while supporting sustainable revenue growth.” The company’s contact lens sales increased 7 percent to $738 million. Contact lens growth on a constant currency basis was reported at 4 percent. Net sales within the ocular health category also rose 13 percent to $487 million, while constant currency growth reached 10 percent. Alcon noted that growth within the category was largely driven by its dry eye portfolio, including Tryptyr and Systane.
